More… We don’t want a family’s financial difficulties to prevent any child from participating in Town of Mammoth Lakes recreation programs. We offer full and partial registration scholarships for those in need. If your family is facing financial difficulties, we invite you to complete our confidential scholarship application which is available online and at registration. There is no deadline to apply for scholarship funds but we do ask that applications are turned in prior to the start of the program(s). Scholarship awards are limited, based upon need, available funds and number of qualifying applicants. Applications are reviewed on a case by case basis. Please allow at least one week for the review and processing of your application. Once a decision has been made, the Parks & Recreation office will contact you via phone.
